Check Preparation

Control Unit Inspection:

1. These inspections should be carried out with adapter harness disconnected at main control unit. When disconnecting harness, first disconnect battery ground cable.
2. In the following checks, "O.K." indicates "Replace main control unit" and "N.G." indicates "Replace sub-control unit" or "Replace adapter harness."
3. In case of "N.G.," refer to ADAPTER HARNESS CHECK.
4. If theft warning system does not operate properly even after replacing sub-control unit, replace main control unit.
