Exhaust Gas Recirculation & Canister Purge Control

1987-88 Pulsar & Sentra w/E16i Engine

The signal from ECU is sent to EGR and canister purge cut solenoid valve, which cuts the vacuum line for EGR and canister control valve. EGR and canister are activated when vehicle speed is above 6 m.p.h., water temperature is above 140°F or when vehicle is under light load and low engine speed.
