Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove throttle valve switch.
2. Remove air flow meter verically, taking care not to bend or damage the plug portion.

CAUTION: Never touch the sensor portion with your finger as you may damage the unit.







3. Apply battery voltage between terminals E (+) and C (-).
4. Measure the voltage between terminals A (+) and D (-) as follows:

W/O airflow at sensor: 1.5 - 2.0 Volts
With airflow at sensor: 2.5 - 4.0 Volts

5. If voltage readings are not as indicated, replace air flow meter.
6. When installing, apply silicon grease
