APPLIED MODELS: 1987 Pulsar NX with automatic transaxle

SERVICE INFORMATION

When installing air conditioning kit (P/N B7000-60AOl) in a 1987 Pulsar NX equipped with an automatic transaxle, an A/C sub-kit (P/N B7003-84M00) is required and the sub-harness in this sub-kit should not be used. This sub-harness is use only on A/T Sentra vehicles and is installed between the main vehicle harness and thermo control unit. The sub-harness must be installed on A/T Sentra vehicles in order for the acceleration cut timer to operate. If the sub-harness is installed on Pulsar NX vehicles, the A/C will not operate at all.



A/T SUB-KIT APPLICATION
The following "NOTICE" is being placed inside the sub-kit box as a reminder not to use the short wire harness on Pulsar NX vehicles:

"THE SHORT WIRE HARNESS IN THIS SUB-KIT IS ONLY USED ON SENTRA VEHICLES. PULSAR NX VEHICLES MUST NOT USE THIS HARNESS. REFER TO THE A/C INSTALLATION MANUAL FOR MORE INFORMATION."
