SERVICE INFORMATION

When installing the A/C switch in a 1987 Pulsar NX vehicle built within the Affected VIN Range above, use the following procedure to locate the A/C switch harness connector. Instrument trim panels do not have to be removed to locate connector.

1. Locate the fan switch harness behind the radio.



2. The A/C switch connector is taped (blue tape) to the fan switch harness.

3. Remove the tape, route the A/C switch connector through the blind plug opening and connect to the A/C switch.
Vehicles built after the Affected VIN Range will have the switch connector attached to the blind plug. Locating the connector and removing the tape is not required on these vehicles.
