SERVICE INFORMATION
The 1987 Pulsar NX SE model is equipped with directional alloy wheels. When rotating the tires of this model, rotate them FRONT to BACK - SAME SIDE ONLY as shown below to maintain the proper appearance of the vehicle. DO NOT rotate them in the criss-cross pattern shown in the 1987 Pulsar NX Service Manual, Owner's Manual and Technical Bulletin WT86-005. The tire rotation pattern shown in those publications is for the XE model equipped with steel wheels.
EXAMPLE:RIGHT SIDE WHEEL:
Note that the right side alloy wheels (P/N 40300-85M26) are different from the left side alloy wheels (P/N 40300-85M25) because of the direction of the spokes between the rim and the center surface. Do not mix the left and right side wheels.
Each alloy wheel is marked with an arrow under the lug nut cap. The arrow indicates the direction the wheel should rotate during forward movement. When the arrow is at the top of the wheel, it should point to the front of the vehicle.
A Service Manual amendment page which contains tire rotation patterns for both types of wheels will be included in Technical Bulletin GI87-006 (TS87-031).
