DOOR WINDOW ADJUSTMENT
APPLIED MODEL: 1987 Pulsar NX
SERVICE INFORMATION
FIGURE 1 - Door Window Adjustment:
Some 1987 Pulsar NX vehicles may have improperly adjusted door window glass, causing the window to remain outside of the upper door glass stopper when the door is closed with the window in the full up position (Figure 1). This can be corrected by adjusting the door glass tilt angle described below.
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1. Make sure that the door is properly adjusted.
2. Remove the interior door trim panel.
FIGURE 2 - Glass Stabilizer/Regulator Adjusting Screws:
3. Loosen the bolt for the rear glass stabilizer (Figure 2).
4. Loosen the lock nuts on the regulator adjustment screws (Figure 2) and turn the adjustment screws counter-clockwise to lean the window glass inward at the top.
CAUTION: If a clicking sound is heard when turning the screw, turn the screw 1 full turn clockwise and tighten the lock nut.
FIGURE 3 - Upper Door Glass Stopper:
FIGURE 4 - "B" Pillar Weatherstrip:
5. When properly adjusted, the window glass should lightly contact the upper door glass stopper (Figure 3), and should make a positive seal with the full length of "B" pillar weatherstrip (Figure 4).
6. After adjusting the window glass tilt angle, lower the window to the full open position and adjust the rear stabilizer so that it lightly contacts the window glass.
