Oil Pressure Sender: Testing and Inspection

Oil Pressure Sender Test:

1. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between terminal and body ground.

Resistance Value:
More Than 74 ohms with engine not running
Approximately 25 - 31 ohms at 43psi (294 kPa)
Approximately 7 - 13 ohms at 85psi (588 kPa)
