1. Discharge air conditioning system using a suitable recovery system.
2. Connect oil separator tool No. KV994A9690 or equivalent, between compressor discharge side and condenser, Fig. 20.
3. Evacuate and charge system.
4. Operate compressor at idling speed with air conditioner set for maximum cooling and high fan speed.
5. Stop compressor operation after 10 minutes.
6. Discharge air conditioning system using a suitable recovery system.
7. Disconnect oil separator and connect refrigerant lines to their original positions.
8. Disconnect low side flexible hose from compressor suction valve.
9. Add 4.1 ounces of new oil to compressor suction port, Fig. 21.
11. Rotate compressor clutch five to ten turns.
12. Connect refrigerant line, then evacuate and charge system.
13. Conduct performance test.
14. If oil separator is not available, add oil in accordance with charts in Fig. 23.
