The acceleration cut control (ACC) system is used to improve engine operation by disengaging the A/C compressor when the throttle valve is at wide open throttle (WOT).
When the ECU senses that the throttle valve is at WOT, via the idle switch, A/F meter and crank angle sensor, it opens the ground circuit to the A/C relay. This cuts voltage to the A/C clutch.
