Disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING AND DISARMING before proceeding.
The ignition lock is retained by two shear type screws, Fig. 2. It is necessary to drill out these screws to remove ignition lock from steering tube. When installing, ensure the shear type screws are used.
