Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection

AIr Temperature Sensor Test:

1. Turn ignition Key ON.
2. Using an ohm meter, check voltage between terminal G/Y and ground.
If voltage is not approximately 3 volts at 20 degrees C (68 degrees F) and does not vary with a temperature change, replace the air flow meter.
