240SX SERVICE MANUAL CORRECTIONS

This is a reissue of TS89-072 to also cover the 1990 model.

APPLIED MODELS:
1989-90 240SX (S13) from engine number KA24-012039

SERVICE INFORMATION:

The 1989 and 1990 240SX Service Manuals are missing certain information detailing the engine and E.C.C.C. changes for the 1999 240SX.

To improve driveability the KA24E engine on the applied model has been changed as follows:

^ Air Temperature sensor has been added.
^ Compression ratio has been changed from 9.1:1, to 8.6:1.
^ E.C.U. has been changed.
^ Idle speed has been changed.
^ Self-diagnosis for the E.G.R. has been added.
