1. Connect consult tool.
2. Start engine.
3. Touch START, HICAS then SELF DIAG RESULTS in that order.
4. Read self diagnostic codes, refer to Fig. 12 for code description and diagnostic procedure reference.
5. Record input/output signals using data monitor function as follows:
a. With engine running, touch START, HICAS and DATA MONITOR in that order.
b. Check to ensure that the ALL SIGNALS display is reversed, then touch START. Refer to Fig. 14 for self-diagnostic items and Fig. 16 for data monitoring items.
c. Touch RECORD to record data, then ensure that On-Off signal is produced when signal is entered from each sensor while monitoring.
