REPAIR PROCEDURES

The following are repair procedures for squeaks and rattles in the 1990-93 300ZX vehicies. When removing the components listed in the Figures, be certain to follow all NOTES and CAUTIONS found in the BF Section of the 300ZX Service Manuals. Also be sure to completely clean all surfaces to which tape will be applied.

Service Materials In addition to common materials such as vinyl electrical tape, silicone and multi-purpose grease, silicone and lithium grease spray, and windshield sealant, the following special materials are required.

(1) Non-woven cloth tape (Part No. 68239-13E00)
(2) Slip tape (Part No. 80812-10V60)
(3) Urethane foam tape with one-side adhesive
(4) Protect tape (Part No. B4271-U0100)
