Fig. 7 Brake Pedal Free Height & Depressed Height Specifications:
Fig. 8 Adjusting Input Rod:
1. Adjust brake pedal free height dimension ``H'' in Fig. 6, to specifications Fig. 7, using brake booster input rod Fig. 8. Ensure tip of input rod stay inside clevis pin.
2. With motor running, measure brake pedal depressed height dimension ``D''in Fig. 6, is within specifications Fig. 7. If not within specifications check for leak in brake system, air in system, problem with master cylinder, wheel cylinder or brake caliper. Repair or replace as necessary.
3. Measure clearance dimension ``C'' Fig. 6. Clearance between pedal stopper and threaded end of brake light switch should be .012-0.39 inches. Clearance between pedal stopper and threaded end of A.S.C.D switch if equipped, should be .012-0.39 inches.
4. Measure pedal freeplay dimension ``A'' Fig. 6. Pedal freeplay should be between .04-.12 inches.
