Brake Master Cylinder: Adjustments

Fig. 2 Output Rod Adjustment:

Do not adjust output rod on the 1989-90 Sentra or 1989 Stanza.
1. Apply 19.96 inch HG of vacuum to brake booster using a suitable vacuum pump, Fig. 2.
2. Check output rod length as shown in Fig. 2.
3. On 1991-92 Sentra and NX Coupe with M20 brake booster, adjust output rod length to .1919-.2018 inches.
4. On all models, adjust output rod length to .4045-.4144 inch.
