VACUUM BOOSTER MOUNTING NUT TORQUE CHANGE


SERVICE INFORMATION

The tightening torque for the vacuum booster mounting nut has been changed as follows:
From: 5.8-8.0 ft.lb. [0.8-1.1 kg-m, 8-11 N-m]
To: 9-12 ft.lb. [1.3-1.6 kg-m, 13-16 N-m]

Make note of this change in your copy of the subject 1990 Service Manuals. For your ease of reference, the mounting nut is highlighted in the illustration below.
