Inspection Procedure
Rotor run-out is easily measured using a dial indicator which is firmly attached to a front suspension component. Thickness variation measurements require careful use of an accurate micrometer as the service limit is very small (0.01 mm, 0.0004 in). Refer to Figure 1 and 2.CONTACT SURFACE
Check rotor for roughness, cracks or chips.
RUNOUT
Check runout using a dial indicator. Make sure that axial end play is within specification. Refer to FA section.
Rotor repair limit:
Maximum runout (Total indicator reading at center of rotor pad contact surface) 0.07 mm (0.0028 in)
Measure the run-out on the inside and outside of the rotor at the center of the rotor/pad contact surface.

OPZ25V non-turbo 24.0 mm (0.945 in) OPZ25VA turbo 28.0 mm (1.102 in)
Measure the thickness in at least eight (8) even locations around the rotor.
