PURPOSE

To allow the driver to control the functions of the Automatic Temperature Control System. The unit also incorporates the self-diagnostic read-out features.

Control Panel Switch Operations:

OPERATION

The switch panel sends driver input commands to the auto amplifier (control unit). Using this information, the amp. controls the Air Mix Door Motor, Mode Door Motor, Intake Door Motor, Blower Motor, and A/C Compressor.

Self-diagnostics are also read on the unit to provide a quick check of malfunctions in the Auto Temp Control System.
