Expansion Valve: Service and Repair

Expansion Valve And Suction Throttle Valve Locations:

PREPARATION

- Discharge A/C System into an approved system.
- Remove high and low side fittings from firewall connections.



REMOVE

- Glove compartment and bracing.
- Evaporator case.
- Expansion valve.

CHECK AND VERIFY

- New expansion valve is properly seated and torqued. Use approved AC lubricant oil.

INSTALL

- In reverse of removal.
