SERVICE INFORMATION

This Bulletin contains radio identification information for all available 1990 Nissan models. Use this Bulletin to identify the component manufacturer and model number when ordering an exchange unit under the Direct Dealer/Manufacturer Radio Warranty Exchange Program.

The 1990 Nissan audio components are supplied by four audio manufacturers. When ordering an exchange unit, it is important to properly identify the manufacturer and model number of the incident unit. This will ensure that the exchange unit shipped from the radio manufacturer will be the same brand and model as the incident unit.

Most audio components are marked with a code number that is visible without removing the unit from the vehicle. Locate the code number on the identification chart to identify the manufacturer and model number of the incident unit.

NOTE:
The first digit(s) of the code number identifies the manufacturer as shown below.

C = Clarion

H = Hitachi

P = Panasonic

AV = Sony

ALL RADIO CORES SHOULD BE RETURNED TO THE MANUFACTURER IMMEDIATELY AFTER REMOVAL FROM THE CUSTOMER'S VEHICLE.
