1990 300ZX TURBO NOSE MASK

SERVICE INFORMATION

In addition to the accessory Nose Mask available for standard 1990 300ZX vehicles, a separate Nose Mask for 300ZX turbo models is now available. The nose mask used for standard 300ZX vehicles cannot be used on turbo models because it will block the inter-cooler inlets, possibly affecting engine performance.

As is the case with all nose masks, the following cautions should be taken during installation:

^ The area to be covered by the mask must be free of dirt. The mask, especially the flannel surface, must also be clean.

^ Both the car and the nose mask must be completely dry. If moisture is present under the mask and is allowed to dry, it may cause the paint to cloud. If the mask gets wet, it should be removed from the vehicle and allowed to dry completely.

^ Any repainted surfaces in contact with the mask must be completely cured.

^ If the mask flaps due to high speed or wind conditions, stop the car and adjust or remove the mask.
