SERVICE INFORMATION

Rotation of tires on 1990 300ZX vehicles varies according to the type of tire/wheel combination, which is dependent upon the powertrain option (Non-Turbo or Turbocharged).

NON-TURBO

Tires marked with directional indicators can be rotated between front and rear axles, but only on the same side, (Figure 1).
Tire/Wheel sizes for Non-Turbo configuration:
^ Tires: 225/50 VR 16 (front and rear)
^ Wheels*: 16" x 7.5" (front and rear)

NOTE: After the tire rotation has been completed, make sure that the tire directional indicators point in the direction of the wheel rotation.

*Directional alloy wheels (stamped on inside of rim "R" or "L" to indicate use on right or left side of vehicle).
There is no tire rotation schedule for turbo models. The tire and wheel sizes are different for the front and rear, and the wheels are directional.

Tire/Wheel sizes for Turbo configuration:

^ Tires: 225/50 ZR 16 (front) 245/45 ZR 16 (rear)

^ Wheels*: 16" x 7.5" (front) 16" x 8.5" (rear)
