SUBJECT: REVISED 1990 NISSAN WARRANTY INFORMATION BOOKLET


Due to a clarification of California Emission Control Regulations, the 1990 Nissan Warranty Information Booklet has been revised and re-printed. Only Page 7, "New Vehicle Emission Control Warranties (Vehicles Certified for use in California)" has been changed. All other pages remain the same as the original 1990 Warranty Information Booklet.

Page 7 of the revised booklet has been changed as follows:

2. Time/Mileage of Performance Warranty 3 yrs/50,000 miles 5 yrs/50,000 miles

The revised booklet is identified by 3 characteristics:

* A new cover photo (300ZX facing left)
* A black back cover
* A revised back cover form number (S-228-S/12-89)

Nissan's Vehicle Processing Centers (VPC's) which process vehicles for use in California and NMMC (Smyrna) will begin placing the revised booklet in the glove box of these vehicles during the week of January 22, 1990. California dealers should begin to use the new revised booklets as soon as they arrive in these vehicles. Non-California dealers may continue to use both the original and revised booklets.

During the month of March, 1990 Nissan will contact all California customers who purchased their 1990 Nissan prior to receiving the revised Warranty Information Booklet, a copy of the customer notification letter is attached for your review. This notification will include a new adhesive back Page 7 to be placed in their existing booklet.
