SERVICE INFORMATION:

On some 1990/1991 300ZX vehicles, customers may complain of a "steering wheel shimmy" during braking. This is defined as a vibration that causes the steering wheel to oscillate very slightly from side to side while braking.

After performing the procedure in Service Advisory NTB90-088 (Issued: September 27, 1990), "1990 300ZX Steering Wheel Shimmy During Braking" (using the updated version of the flow chart attached to this bulletin), new brake pads must be installed, on M/T Turbo 1990/91 and M/T Non Turbo 1991 vehicles, as shown on Table 1, and other vehicles if required.
