1. On models with airbag, disable airbag system as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.
2. On models less airbag, disconnect battery ground cable.






3. Each switch can be replaced without removing combination switch base.
4. On all models, remove retaining screw from switch assembly.
5. Remove switch to switch assembly attaching screws.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Rearm airbag system, if equipped, as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.
