B. ENGINE COMPARTMENT (figure 5)

1. Center punch a mark as shown. Check for proper clearance underneath and adjust as necessary. Drill a 1/8" hole then enlarge it to 11/32".

2. Remove all burrs and apply NISSAN RUST PREVENTATIVE to the hole.

3. Install the pinswitch. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. Check that the switch operates without interference. Check that the hood will actuate the switch when fully closed. If the pinswitch is too low, refit it with the black washers included in the kit.
