Air Mix Door Sensor

Air Mix Door Control Specs.:

AIR MIX DOOR SENSOR
The air mix door motor is attached to the heater unit. it rotates so that the air mix door is opened to a position set by the auto amplifier. Motor rotation is then conveyed through a shaft and air mix door position is then fed back to the auto amplifier by Potentio Balance Resistor (PBR) built-in air mix door motor.

The max. cold door is operated by the air mix door motor. This motor operates both the max. cold door and the air mix door (by mechanical linkage).

Air Mix Door Operation:

When the air mix door is in the full cold position and the discharge mode is vent, the max. cold door is open (in auto mode, the discharge mode is always vent when the mix door is at full cold). When a discharge mode other than vent is selected by manual mode control (and the air mix door is in the full cold position), the max. cold door is closed by the air mix door motor.
