1. Disconnect the neutral/reverse switch on the transmission.
2. Shift the transmission into neutral.
3. Confirm continuity exists between terminals 1 and 3.
If not, replace switch.
4. Shift the transmission into all gears except neutral.
5. Confirm that continuity does not exist at terminals 1 and 2.
If continuity does exist, replace the switch.
