Neutral Safety Switch: Testing and Inspection

Inhibitor Switch Connector:

1. Disconnect connector for inhibitor switch.
2. Using an ohm meter check for continuity as per the following.
3. Transmission in PARK position:
Continuity between terminals 2 and 5.
4. Transmission in NEUTRAL position:
Continuity between terminals 1 and 4.
Replace inhibitor switch if it fails above tests.
