The troubleshooting of the Theft Warning System on pages EL-105 - EL-122 of the 1989 Maxima Service Manual and EL-135 - EL-152 of the 1990 Maxima Service Manual, is incorrect. This Bulletin gives the correct information. Please reference this Bulletin by hand on pages EL-105 and EL-135 of the respective Maxima Service Manuals.

Trouble-shooting (Cont'd)

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE IND (1) Indicator lamp does not blink (Remains out).
^ Ignition switch OFF
^ At least one of the doors, hood, or trunk is open.
