1. Place vehicle on level ground and block the wheels.
2. Release fuel pressure as outlined under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE.
3. Shutoff the ignition switch and replace the fuel pump fuse.
4. Refer to Figs. 1 and 2 for part removal necessary to replace engine.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
