When checking ride height vehicle must be parked on a level surface and tires inflated to proper air pressure. Ensure all fluid levels are to specified level, spare tire and jack are in proper locations.
Bounce vehicle up and down several times, then measure vehicle height from top of wheelwell to ground, Fig. 8. Vehicle height is not adjustable. If vehicle height is not 27.32 inches in the front of vehicle and 26.38 inches in the rear of vehicle, On 1990-92 240SX models, check for worn springs or suspension parts.
