Distributor: Locations

Fig. 1 Engine Compartment Components:

DISTRIBUTOR
Located on the L.H. side of the cylinder head at the front.

DISTRIBUTOR CAP
Located on top of the distributor.

DISTRIBUTOR ROTOR
Located on top of the distributor shaft, inside the cap.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT
Located in the R.F. kick panel.

IGNITION COIL
Located on the front side of the L.F. strut tower.

IGNITION WIRES
Routed from the ignition coil to the distributor cap and from the distributor, along side the valve cover, to the spark plugs.

NUMBER ONE (1) SPARK PLUG
Located at the front of the cylinder bank.

POWER TRANSISTOR
Located on the front side of the L.F. strut tower, on the ignition coil bracket.

THROTTLE SENSOR
Located on the R.H. side of the throttle chamber at the throttle shaft.
