Valve Spring

SQUARENESS
1. Dimension "S" is squareness (out-of-square). Measure dimension "S":
- The spring must be less than 1.9 mm (0.075 inch) out-of-square.
2. If it exceeds the limit, replace the spring.





PRESSURE
Check valve spring free height and check the pressure at the specified height.
- Free height is 44.6 mm (1.756 inch).
The standard:
- With a pressure of 548.70 N (123.37 lbs.) the height should be 26.0 mm (1.024 inch.)
The limit:
- The spring should be more than 489.4 N (110.0 lbs.) at a height of 26.0 mm (1.024 inch).
