A/C Refrigerant - Reimbursement Policy Revised

TO: ALL NISSAN DEALERS

SUBJECT: REVISED REFRIGERANT REIMBURSEMENT POLICY


Last June, 1990, a new Refrigerant Warranty Reimbursement Policy was presented. A revision to this policy has been made and is effective immediately.

The amount that may be claimed for each quantity of 1 pound newly added or recycled refrigerant has been increased from $4.00 to $5.20.

The $8.00 total for a maximum allowed quantity of 2 pounds of newly added or recycled refrigerant per repair has been changed to a maximum of $12.50.

A recap of the policy is as follows:

1. When requesting reimbursement for newly added refrigerant, use the special part number LOCALFREON.

2. When requesting reimbursement for use of recycled refrigerant, use the special part number LOCALRECYC.

3. In both cases, up to $5.20 may be claimed for each quantity of one (1).
Note: Quantity 1 = 1 Pound.

4. The maximum allowed per repair is $12.50.

5. Payment is the same for new and/or recycled refrigerant.
