240SX TAIL PIPE FINISHER INSTALLATION

SERVICE INFORMATION:

1990 and 1991 model year 240SX vehicles have a styled tail pipe finisher that is difficult to install using normal procedures. To ease installation and prevent damage to the finisher, use a piece of ill wood, cut as shown below, to help drive the finisher onto the tail pipe.





To install the tail pipe finisher, insert the piece of wood into the finisher, as shown below; hit the wood, using a rubber hammer.


CAUTION: The outer portion of the finisher must not be used to drive the finisher onto the tail pipe.
