Rattling Noise At Rear Side Trim

PARTS/LOCATIONS AFFECTED:
REAR SIDE TRIM

SYMPTOM:
Rattling noise caused by interference with rear side trim.

REPAIR METHOD:
Tools required:
Gum tape (eg.duct tape)

How to repair:





(1) Remove rear seat.
(2) Remove rear side trim.
(3) Remove seat belt drive motor.
(4) Fix sunroof drain hose to body panel with gum tape.
^ Take care that the sunroof drain hose does not extend beyond the drain hole.
(5) Install drive motor.
Tightening torque:
43 - 55 N-m (4.4 - 5.6 kg-m, 32 - 41 ft.lb.)
(6) Install rear side trim.
(7) Install rear seat.
