Throttle Position Sensor: Locations

AIR INDUCTION VALVES (AIV)
The Air Induction Valves (AIV) or mounted to the rear of each front tire in the fenderwell.

AIR INDUCTION VALVE SOLENOID
The Air Induction Valve Solenoid is mounted in front of the battery in the engine compartment.

CANISTER PURGE CONTROL VALVE
The Canister Purge Control Valve is incorporated into the charcoal canister (mounted to the left radiator support in the engine compartment).

CHARCOAL CANISTER
The Charcoal Canister is mounted to the left radiator support in the engine compartment.

CHECK CONNECTOR
The Check Connector (for engine RPM) is located near the coolant overflow bottle filler on the left side of the engine compartment.



Engine Components (Rear View):





AUXILIARY AIR CONTROL (AAC) VALVE
The Auxiliary Air Control (AAC) Valve is mounted the the left side of the intake plenum in the rear of the engine compartment.

OXYGEN SENSOR (O2)
The Oxygen (O2) Sensors (2) are threaded into each exhaust manifold.

CRANK ANGLE SENSOR
The Crank Angle Sensor is mounted to the front of the left cylinder head.

POSITIVE CRANKCASE VENTILATION VALVE (PCV)
The Positive Crankcase Ventilation( PCV) Valves (2) are threaded into the outer side of each intake plenum.

THROTTLE VALVE SWITCH AND THROTTLE SENSOR
The Throttle Valve Switch and Throttle Sensor is mounted on the throttle chamber in the engine compartment.
