Component Tests and General Diagnostics

Radiator Fan Test:

M/T MODELS AND A/T MODELS FOR CANADA

1. Disconnect the connectors from the radiator fan motor harness.
2. Supply 12 volts to the terminals as shown.
3. Verify that the fan motor operates correctly.
If the fan does not operate correctly, replace the fan motor.

Radiator Fan Motor Testing:

A/T MODELS EXCEPT FOR CANADA

1. Disconnect the connectors from the radiator fan motor harness.
2. Supply 12 volts to the terminals as shown.
3. Verify that the fan motor operates correctly.
If the fan does not operate correctly, replace the fan motor.
