VSS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: 2-DOOR MODELS REQUIRE THE REPLACEMENT OF TWO TORX SCREWS (P/N 01141-0002C). HAVE THESE AVAILABLE BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF INSTALLATION.

NOTE: Base trim level 2-Door and 4-Door models may require an AUXILIARY SWITCH KIT (P/N 999H1-A7000).


BEFORE STARTING, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE

A INTERIOR
1. Remove the drivers seat mounting bolts. Disconnect the seat belt switch connector and carefully remove seat.
2. Remove the following trim panels:
-Left door sill protector (A) and door guide Remove torx screws with Snap-On FTX 4 equivalent. DO NOT REUSE TORX SCREWS -Left kick panel(C) -Undercolumn panel (D) -Steering column finisher (E)


3. Place the module mounting plate on the carpet under the driver's seat at the location shown. Using the plate as a template, cut a three sided flap in the carpet and padding. Remove the padding only. Place the plate on the floor and mark the location of the holes as shown. Drill 3/16" holes, remove any burrs and apply NISSAN RUST PREVENTATIVE (999MP-A6000). Apply the double sided tape to the boftom of the plate. Do not touch the adheasive surface. Fasten the plate with the sheet metal screws. Attach the electronic module to the mounting plate with the four black screws. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN OR STRIP THE THREADS.
