SERVICE INFORMATION

Some 1990-92 Stanza manual transmission vehicles (built before the applied date) may produce a growling noise from the transmission. If this noise is present, use Service Manual procedures to inspect and replace the front mainshaft bearing with the countermeasure bearing listed below.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Replace the front mainshaft bearing according to Service Manual procedures.
