Check Engine Lamp:

The check engine lamp, located on the left side of the instrument cluster, illuminates to inform the driver of a malfunction in the ECU's calculation functions. It can also be used by the technician to identify trouble codes stored in the E.C.U.

It will also flash simultaneously with the red diode on the ECU when extracting codes or when inspecting feedback operation.
