240SX FUEL DOOR CONTROL BROKEN
This is a new version [designated with an "a" suffix] of the previously-issued Bulletin. It was necessary to release this new version because the Warranty Department did not supply the correct Information for the original version.

SERVICE INFORMATION:
Some 240SX vehicles may have occurances where the fuel filler lid will not remain closed because the fuel filler lid control has broken at the threaded retention sleeve (Figure 1).
PARTS INFORMATION:
An improved cable assembly with a strengthened threaded sleeve and lock nut are now available for repairing vehicles with this condition.
