Installation


1. Using suitable blocks, face cylinder assembly upward.
2. Lubricate new O-ring with clean refrigerant oil and install O-ring and two pins.
3. Position suction valve plate and gasket, if used, while ensuring that three valves of suction valve plate are aligned with cylinder.
4. Apply coat of clean refrigerant oil to both surfaces of suction plate.
5. Align shaft seal with shaft cutaway. Firmly seat shaft seal at land.
6. Attempt to turn seal to right and left to check for proper seating.
7. Coat two new O-rings with suitable amount of clean refrigerant oil and install O-rings on cylinder head.
8. Install front cover so that clutch terminal can be positioned in cut portion of shell when assembly is complete. Install front cover on cylinder head so that angle between threaded hole in front cover and low pressure side refrigerant passage is approximately 60°.
9. Install gasket on front cover and install shell on cylinder head.
10. Adjust position of shell so that suction inlet of shell opens in same direction as suction slot of cylinder assembly.
11. Remove suction valve and ensure that swash plate is visible in suction inlet.
12. Turn over assembled shell and cylinder so that front faces downward.
13. Install rear cover, shaft seal seat, and compressor clutch.
14. If clutch terminal is not in cut portion of shell, repeat installation assembly.
15. Perform leak test.
16. Fill compressor with new refrigerant oil through suction port.
