Control Valve Assembly and Accumulator

CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY AND ACCUMULATOR

REMOVAL




1. Drain A.T.F. from transaxle.
2. Remove oil pan and gasket.




Bolt Length, Number And Location:




3. Remove control valve assembly by removing fixing bolts.
- Be careful not to drop manual valve out of valve body.

4. Disassemble and inspect control valve assembly if necessary - Refer to "REPAIR FOR COMPONENT PARTS".




5. Remove accumulator by applying compressed air if necessary.
- Hold piston with a rag.

INSTALLATION




- Set manual shaft in Neutral, then align manual plate with groove in manual valve.
- Align throttle lever with groove in detent valve.
- After installing control valve assembly to transmission case, make sure that selector lever can be moved to all positions.
- Install any part removed.
