Clearing Trouble Codes

Consult Diagnostic Code Chart:

1. Connect consult tool checker to vehicle harness connector located under the lefthand side of the instrument panel.
2. Turn ignition switch to On position. When consult tool is connected, the airbag warning lamp will be turned to present diagnosis mode.
3. Touch START to operate consult tool.
4. Touch AIRBAG to choose airbag system.
5. Touch SELF DIAG RESULTS to read self diagnosis results then refer to Fig. 14 for explanation and repair order.
6. Touch PRINT button to print SELF DIAG RESULTS 1 and 2.
7. After repairing malfunctioning parts, touch ERASE to clear self diagnosis results.
8. Touch BACK to return to User Mode. Ensure that Consult tool checker indicates SELECT SYSTEM AIRBAG.
9. Push power switch to turn off Consult tool.
10. Turn ignition switch to Off position.
