Fuel Pump Relay Location:

1. Disconnect the fuel pump relay.
2. Start engine.
3. When engine stalls, crank or attempt to restart engine 2 or 3 times to release pressure.
4. Turn ignition switch off and reinstall fuel pump relay.

Fuel Tank Assembly:

5. Working inside luggage compartment, disconnect fuel pump electrical connector.
6. Remove fuel supply and return lines.
7. Remove fuel pump mounting screws and pull fuel pump from tank.
8. Reverse procedure to install, using new o-ring and torque fuel pump mounting screws to 1.8 - 2.0 ft-lb (2.5 - 2.6 Nm).
