Step 2 - Sensor Checks

Self-Diagnosis Step 2 - Sensor Circuits Shorts And Opens:







PURPOSE

This step checks the operation of every sensor circuit for a short or open condition.

OPERATION

NOTE: It takes about 4 seconds for the self-diagnostic system to check all sensors.

If a sensor circuit is open, the corresponding number blinks on the LED display. If a sensor circuit is shorted, the number will be preceded by a "-" mark.

If two or more sensor circuits malfunction, corresponding code numbers blink two times.

LIST OF SENSOR CODES AND CONDITIONS

NOTE: A code 20 will display when all sensor circuits check OK.
